At last

So, here I am, about to create my first food blog, something I've been meaning to do for a long time, although I realize it is hardly an original project even based on how long many of the url's relating to "World Cafe" were already taken on Blogger. However, I am tired of general blogs detailing random mundane information pertaining to daily life and relationships - I have already gone from Freeopendiary to Xanga and then to LiveJournal based on whatever my group of friends were using and the time - each time I become quickly bored with it and ended my relationship with those sites rather unemotionally. I was never one to wish every single detail of my personal life to be keystroked and submitted and then read on a screen by people I may not even know, or if friends locked and completely abandoned, people I may no longer care about. Still, the fact that I am here creating a blog does mean I do want some people to read about some parts of my personal life, just this time I think I should write it about something I really care about and not try and conform my entries to general ranting philosophical posts about life, the universe, and everything. I care the most about food. Lots of food. Good food. Food that is generally healthy but that is occasionally unhealthy taken only in moderation. Food that represents an excellent variety and satisfies my pallate. I am learning to be a "foodie" and I don't feel elitist at all for saying that. I am simply of the opinion that once a living being's needs of knowing they are going to be able to eat and having a safe place at which to do that eating are fulfilled, they should definitely then go on to satisfy higher wants and needs. I am pretty sure that is what humans have been doing for centuries - fulfilling wants and needs. Just as I am doing here once again; finally fulfilling a satisfying desire to write about something I feel very passionately about, and even post some photos I have taken of that subject while I'm at it. Bring on the food!
